RealClearEducation: Beating Beijing Starts at School
How Educating for Unity, Egalitarianism, and Strategic Competitiveness Can Help the U.S. Prevail... and Sneak Peek
Good Afternoon, Subscribers!
I hope you are all doing well. I’ve been away from my desk for a week enjoying spring break with family. What does spring look like where you are? Cherry blossoms are blooming here in DC and Northern Virginia.
Well, I’m happy to report that my op-ed on how “Beating Beijing Starts at School” was published Monday in RealClearEducation. In case you missed the Substack publication of this article, you can click here or on the image below to view.
I hope you will enjoy reading the op-ed and and will consider sharing it!
On another note, some colleges such as Marymount University are eliminating many humanities majors including the English major (a useful language is it not? I’m glad I can use it to write this post.).
It’s tragic.
And I’m sure you’ve already heard at least something about the ChatGPT chatbot and the swirl of dystopian questions related to AI technologies. With such developments in mind, I’m writing my next article on how studying the humanities protects our humanity and is now more important than ever. I look forward to sharing it with you!

Thank you so much for allowing me the privilege of visiting your inbox each week.
Until my next post,
Antonette
